Mohammed Al Sharqi receives Fujairah Social Cultural Society board

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, received today members of the Fujairah Social Cultural Society Board of Directors.

During the meeting, the Fujairah Crown Prince reviewed the association's activities and cultural projects that it intends to undertake in the coming year.

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad also praised the association for its community development initiatives, and its support for the cultural movement in the emirate.

He said that Fujairah is now the focus of the world's intellectuals and creative minds, as the emirate embraces artistic and cultural endeavours. Sheikh Mohammed highlighted the important role played by the Fujairah Social Cultural Society in spreading cultural awareness, linking the UAE cultural landscape with those of the world via its community activities both in and outside of the emirate.

At the end of the meeting, His Highness the Crown Prince emphasised the significance of strengthening national identity in all the association's initiatives and activities, and the necessity behind fulfilling its responsibilities for advancing the emirate's development in ways that serve all members of the community.
