Abu Dhabi - Wam
Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC), the master developer of Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi, welcomed members of the Saudi Businesswomen Forum of the Eastern Province headed by HRH Princess Mashael bint Faisal bin Turki bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, the Honorary Chairwoman of the council. The delegation was guided around the ‘Saadiyat Story’ exhibition at Manarat Al Saadiyat, where they were briefed on the progress of the island’s prestigious hospitality and residential projects. The members then viewed the Union Exhibition at the UAE Pavilion, which showcases never-seen-before collections chronicling Abu Dhabi’s early development.   The tour then continued at the show villas of Jawaher Al Saadiyat, which offer a preview of the three distinct types of Saadiyat Beach Villas. To conclude, the group was led through the newly-opened Monte-Carlo Beach Club, Saadiyat, which is the first Monte-Carlo branded property outside of Monaco, where they viewed the club’s facilities, including the pool area, gym and dining venues The group was hosted by Sheikha Mahra Al Qassimi, Deputy Director of Corporate Communications at TDIC, who said: “We would like to thank HRH Princess Mashael for her visit and interest in Saadiyat. We are delighted to host this exceptional group of businesswomen, who are playing the fantastic role of further cementing the woman’s role in the regional business world. The exchange of information and ideas we have experienced here today has been phenomenal, and we look forward to hosting similar delegations in the near future.” HRH Princess Mashael bint Faisal bin Turki Al Saud also commented, “I was very pleased to see how the once future vision of Abu Dhabi becoming an international city in the Arab world is now beginning to come to life right before our eyes. Abu Dhabi has embraced global thoughts and succeeded in allowing different cultures to unite in this beautiful capital. This is further showcased by TDIC’s projects, which aim to provide a modern luxurious lifestyle, without hindering the identity of the local culture.”
