Macedonian president visits Pyramids plateau

Visiting Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov on Monday visited the Pyramids plateau and voiced his admiration of the ancient Egyptian civilization.
In statements to MENA, Pyramids Archaeological Area Media center said the Macedonian president, his spouse and their accompanying delegation made a tour of Khufu pyramid, the panorama of Egypt's Great Pyramids of Giza as well as the Sphinx.
They were briefed on most archaeological sites of the Pyramids by the Egyptian archaeologist Mamdouh Taha.
The Macedonian president arrived here on Sunday on a visit to Egypt for talks with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on a set of issues of common interest and means of bolstering spheres of cooperation in the various domains
