Governor Shaikh Hesham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa of the Capital Governorate today congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, and the Bahraini people on the 16th anniversary of the National Action Charter endorsed by an overwhelming majority of 98.4% of the people in a nationwide plebiscite in 2001.
The governor hailed the wise vision of His Majesty the King of paving the way for the popular referendum and His Majesty's historic ratification of the National Action Charter which culminated in the kingdom's comprehensive development and democratic reforms, wishing the Kingdom's leadership, government and people more progress and prosperity.
