HM King Philippe of the Kingdom of Belgium has awarded the Order of the Crown in the class of Grand Cross to HE Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al-Thani, Qatar's former ambassador to Belgium from 2012 to 2017.
On behalf of the King of Belgium, HE Belgian Ambassador to Qatar Christophe Payot honored HE Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al-Thani with the Order of the Crown in the class of Grand Cross during a ceremony held at the residence of the Belgian ambassador in Doha, in recognition of his efforts to consolidate bilateral ties during his five-year post in the Kingdom of Belgium.
HE Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al-Thani thanked HM the king of Belgium for awarding him such a prestigious order, and expressed his gratitude for the trust HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani bestowed on him to carry out his job in a way that befits the State of Qatar and its notable international standing.
