King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Manama - BNA

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has given his directives to the Bahraini Embassy in the United States to take the necessary measures to ensure the safety of all citizens who are now in the eastern coast areas of the United States, particularly in the hurricane-hit North and South Carolina.

The royal directives came in a telephone conversation between His Majesty the King and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United States, Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, in which His Majesty instructed him to make sure all Bahraini citizens are safe as Hurricane Florence is lashing the US eastern coast areas.

Following the royal directives, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain has effectively taken all necessary measures to ensure the safety of all citizens staying in the mentioned areas, particularly the areas which are either directly affected or on the path of the hurricane.

It has arranged for the transfer of Bahraini visitors outside the United States and the students to other US states far from the hurricane and storms in addition to allocating an emergency hotline through which it has received requests for help from citizens inside the United States.
