HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Honorary President of Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation received and congratulated Abdullah Al-Doy, National Taekwondo Coach on the occasion of obtaining the black belt of the eighth level "8 Dan" from the International Taekwondo Federation becoming the third coach from the GCC to obtain this advanced rank in the game.

HH Shaikh Khalid asserted that obtaining this advanced and prestigious level of the game by Al-Doy reflects his concern about developing the Bahraini sports and will reflect positively on the Taekwondo sport in the Kingdom. He praised the efforts of Al-Doy to promote the self-defence sports in Bahrain and train the Bahraini youth to become part of the wide audience and players of this popular sport. He also discussed with Al-Doy means of developing the sport in Bahrain and improving the level and performance of Bahraini athletes to participate and compete in international tournaments and championships.

On his part, Al-Doy expressed sincere gratitude and appreciation to HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa for supporting the local youth and sports movements, especially martial sports, adding that he will spare no efforts to continue improving the sport in Bahrain and represent it in international sports arenas.
