Immigration minister welcomes election of Salama

Minister of Immigration and Expatriate Affairs Nabila Makram expressed happiness over the election of Amr Ezzat Salama as secretary general of the Association of the Arab Universities (AARU) to be the best representative for Egypt.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the Minister welcomed the joint cooperation between the Ministry of Immigration and the AARU to establish a database for the Egyptian students and researchers in the Arab universities to make use of their expertise.
The minister also asserted the importance of extending bridges of contact with the Egyptian expatriates in the various fields. She also welcomed the AARU's participation in the Third Conference of the Ministry held under the title of "Egypt Can".
AARU includes the membership of 22 Arab universities who have chosen Salama for the secretary general's post.
