Higher education minister attends GUC anniversary

Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar on Saturday attended a ceremony held to mark the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the German University in Cairo (GUC) On behalf of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
Addressing the event, Abdel Ghaffar hailed the GUC role in education and cooperation between Egypt and Germany.
"The GUC is a channel to transfer German industrial, technological and education expertise into Egypt," said the minister.
He noted that he had recently met with the German education and research minister to mull ways to promote cooperation.
