H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, visited on Tuesday the UAE pavilion at the EXPO 2015 in the Italian city of Milan.

Sheikh Hamdan was warmly welcomed by the 'Takatof' young volunteers who briefed him about the pavilion's contents which reflect the UAE's journey for progress and the challenges it faced to preserve water resources and to provide alternative energy for the future generations of the UAE.

Sheikh Hamdan toured the stands of Emirates Airlines and Etihad Airways. He also stopped by at the stand of the Dubai Municipality and Etisalat.

At the end of his tour, Sheikh Hamdan said he was pleased with his visit to EXPO 2015, held at a time when Dubai is preparing to host EXPO 2020. He wished the officials and volunteers at the pavilion success as they carry the message of the UAE to the world.

Sheikh Hamdan also toured the national pavilions of different countries, including Angola, Brazil, Lithuania, Malaysia, Spain, Ecuador, Slovakia, Estonia, Germany, the United States, Chile and Colombia.

He was accompanied during his tour by Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State and Director General of the EXPO 2020 Bureau, Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, members of the EXPO 2020 organising committee, senior officials and Saqr Nasser Al Raisi, UAE Ambassador to Italy.
