Damascus - SANA

Prime Minister Wael al-Halqi reiterated call upon all the displaced citizens in the neighboring countries who were forced to leave their homes due to the terrorist acts to come back home to prevent their exploitation. Chairing the Cabinet's weekly session on Tuesday, al-Halqi stressed that Syria is home to all of its people and that the government is ready to embrace all the displaced citizens and provide decent residential places for them. In this context, Minister of State for National Reconciliation Affairs, Ali Haidar, underscored that thousands of displaced Syrians abroad have started to return back, particularly from Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan. On the economic level, the Premier pointed out that the government is continuing work to limit the rise in prices, affirming that there will be no tolerance towards those who are trying to disrupt the stability of the national economy. He highlighted the government's continuous efforts to provide services and livelihood requirements in the various provinces and the measures that have been taken to secure all the basic food and consumer materials and oil derivatives. In the framework of the session, the Cabinet approved a draft law to establish the Higher Judicial Institute at the Ministry of Justice. The Cabinet also approved a draft law amending Article 205 of Labor Law No. 17 for 2010 that is related to activating work of labor courts in the provinces. A draft law establishing electronic copying offices at the Ministry and all judicial bodies and courts was also approved in the framework of automating judicial and administrative work.
