An Egyptian Interior Ministry delegation arrived in Tunisia early Tuesday to attend the 40th Conference of Arab Police and Security Leaders.

The conference - under the aegis of Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi - will kick off on Wednesday.

Secretary General of the Arab Interior Ministers Council Sheikh Khalifa ben Ahmed Al Khalifa will chair the conference.

Arab security leaderships will take part in the event alongside representatives from the Arab League, the Gulf Cooperation Council, Interpol and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).

The conference will review a host of important issues, topped by combating terror and extremist organizations in the Arab region.
