Egypt to participate in Taiwan-Africa Business Forum

The Cairo Chamber of Commerce will participate in the Taiwan-Africa Business Forum, to be held in Taipei on October 16-17.
During the meeting, the chamber will review economic reform measures and incentives to attract investors to the local market.
In statements on Tuesday, Head of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce Ibrahim el Arabi said Egypt's participation in the forum aims at luring more investments to the country in line with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's directives.
International institutions lauded these economic reform measures, a matter that helped improve the economic indicators, the economic growth rate and Egypt's credit rating, he said.
Arabi added he will post the participants in the forum on Egypt's keenness on establishing strong partnerships with the largest number of international partners to push forward the development process and shore up investments in the country.
For his part, the chamber's deputy chairman, Ali Shoukry, said during the forum, he will focus on Egypt's new mechanisms for encouraging innovation and structural reforms with the view to achieving long-term and sustainable economic growth.
