Dr Al Jaz promotes pharma industry

The Ministry of industry, Dr. Awad Al-Jaz, has affirmed the importance of continuous enhancement of efforts for reaching self-sufficiency in medicines. He indicated during his meeting Thursday at his office with the medicines manufacturers that the production of a number of medicines factories which would stick to the international standards has entered the local market, referring to the remarkable progress achieved in the field of medicines manufacturing. Meanwhile, Deputy Governor of the Sudan Central Bank, Badr-Eddin Mahmoud, affirmed that priority was given for the financing of the medicines sector, calling for the manufacturing of veterinary medicines to cover the need of the local market.
