Deputy prime minister opens E - tendering

Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa patronized today E – Tendering project in its first phase. Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak noted that this great electronic accomplishment is to provide all documents through electronic aspects to add more accomplishments to Bahrain's E – Government project that was launched in 2007. In this regard, Shaikh Mohammed expressed thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Housing Bassim Al Hamer and head of Bahrain Tender Board for inviting him to patronize this event. He added that E – Tendering will provide further transparency and concern to all bodies to receive their tenders in a short period of time as well as to view its results in order to facilitate investment procedures for Bahraini and foreign investors as well complying with Bahraini Economic Vision 2030. Shaikh Mohammed added that this accomplishment enhances all e – projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain and reflect positively in the investment atmosphere in the country. It also ranks Bahrain within the advanced countries in this domain.
