Deputy Premier and President of teh Supreme Council for the Development of Education and Training, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, received here today, in the presence of Education Minister, the Board of Directors Chairperson of the Bahrain Bayan School, Dr. Shaikha May bint Suleiman Al-Otaibi, after the school was awarded the 20

18 Zayed Future Energy Prize in the Global High Schools category.

The Bahrain Bayan School’s "ECOLAB 360" project came first in the award in which 1,800 projects from all over the world participated.
The deputy premier expressed sincere congratulations to Al-Otaibi, the board of directors and the administrative and teaching staff for the exploit crowning the school’s successful efforts to develop its educational programmes and improve its performance, in accordance with the requirements of the Reform Project spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad in Isa Al Khalifa, the Economic Vision for Bahrain 2030 and the initiatives launched by the Kingdom’s Development of Education and Training Project for the sake of reaching international levels, given the fact that education is an essential pillar for countries’ progress.
HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak presented Al-Otaibi with a thanks and appreciation certificate, and congratulated the winning students, wishing them further success.
Al-Otaibi extended deepest thanks and appreciation to the deputy premier for receiving her and the winning students, stressing that the victory reflects the interest enjoyed by the education sector in the kingdom, and the keenness to develop it.
She lauded HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak’s efforts in this regard since he took over the presidency of the Development of Education and Training Project.
