Cameron calls for Palestinian, Israeli peace talks

British Prime Minister David Cameron called on Thursday to resume peace talks between Palestine and Israel. Cameron met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who was visiting London to attend funeral of former prime minister Margaret Thatcher, where they discussed the current situation regarding the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Cameron noted the importance of resuming peace talk for the future of the Middle East region, including improving the economic and security conditions in the occupied territories. He also said that both sides should make huge efforts to resolve their issues that led to stalling peace talks. The Prime Ministers also agreed in their meeting to put more efforts, and hold talks regarding the current Syrian crisis, and Iran's Nuclear Program, with attempts to convince Iran to hold talks with the international community. British Foreign Minister said earlier this year, that 2013 would be the time for the Peace Process in the Middle East, whereas he warned that the Two-State Solution will not be applied if the peace talks were not resumed.
