Bosnian President Dragan Covic on Saturday conferred with Egyptian Ambassador in Sarajevo Yasser el-Attawi on means of pushing forward bilateral relations in all domains.

A statement released by the Foreign Ministry on Saturday said the Bosnian president greeted the Egyptian diplomat on Egypt's winning a non-permanent seat at the UN Security Council. The Bosnian president voiced confidence over Egypt's ability to tackle with objective approach all issues to be raised at the UN over the coming two years.

The Egyptian diplomat, for his part, asserted that Egypt is interested in supporting and upgrading cooperation with Bosnia, especially in the economic, trade and tourism domains to be up to the level of political relations binding the two countries.

He also praised the strenuous efforts exerted by the Egyptian Embassy in Sarajevo to contact the Bosnian business community and investors to encourage them to increase their investments and projects in Egypt.

The ambassador briefed the Bosnian president on Egypt's efforts to secure the tourism destinations and invited the Bosnian people to visit Egypt.
