Ambitious plan to develop Sharjah Beach
Sharjah - Arab Today

H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah has stated there are ambitious development projects to be implemented soon to develop the Sharjah Beach to enhance the emirate's status as a tourist destination.

This came during a comment H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan made via the Direct Line Programme broadcast live on Sharjah Radio and TV on Sunday.

''Linking the sea to the Sharjah Creek is among the projects, which will contribute to enhancing Sharjah's status as a tourist destination in the region. These projects will include a number of hotels and tourist facilities,'' H.H. Sheikh Sultan was quoted by Sharjah 24 news service.

The Ruler of Sharjah was responding to one of the callers, promising him to establish a permanent pasture from Muhafiz to Al-Fayah. His Highness noted, "We will plant the area between Muhafiz bridge and a Qatah tunnel and surround it with a fence to be a nature reserve."

"We will also forest the area between Suhaila and Zubaydah,'' he further added.
