Moroccan Women Gangs in al-Qasr and al-Keber have recently been attacking women with swords in order to rob them, a source told Arabstoday. The Gangs, which are consisted of 4 or 6 people, are active in several neighborhoods in the city. They have attacked 20 women so far.Many women have filled complaints that have been left untreated by the local authorities. The local residents claim that the area is becoming a safe heaven for criminals to prosper.
According to the same source, an investigation has been launched to find the suspects involved in the gangs. The first results revealed that the gangs arrange to spread around the city to carry out their criminal activities. The gangs have also stolen bicycles and motorcycles.
Meanwhile, the city lacks human resources in security services.
