Sheikha Dr Suad Al-Sabah Eminent Kuwaiti poet, Sheikha Dr Suad Al-Sabah, has been chosen as one of the most influential intellect, thinkers and authors for 2013, it was announced in a press statement on Tuesday.
Al-Sabah has been selected for her outstanding work in history, economics and her imprint in poetry.
Suad Al-Sabah was born in 1942 in Kuwait, she is a member of the ruling family.
She has published several poetry books and established a literary prize that carries her name. She also has written hundreds of economic and political essays as well as popular articles in several Arabic local and international newspapers and magazines. Her poetry has been translated into many languages, including English.
