Speaking about the recognition, Prof. Gita Ashok Raj, said, “We are pleased to receive this important recognition, which is in many ways a strong indicator of the unparalleled educational experience we are providing for students that enroll at GMU. The foundation of these achievements is our faculty and staff who have embraced our vision for the future and dedicated themselves to serving our campus community. I am grateful for all their contributions and their commitment to students who will represent GMU and the next generation of leaders and innovators across the globe.”

During the visit, the delegates were briefed to an audio-visual presentation, followed by a visit to various medical faculties and departments. They were also introduced to the GMU’s educational pattern and the use of the most modern and advanced laboratories by the University to impart quality medical education to the students. The visiting team was highly impressed that the university had an international faculty and a student cohort from around 75 countries. Later, the visiting team interacted with the Ghanian students enrolled in the Gulf Medical University. They were deeply impressed by the academic, research and healthcare facilities at the Gulf Medical University and Thumbay Hospital & Research Center, Ajman.
