Funeral of Tunisian soldiers in the capital Tunis
Tunis - Azhar Jarboui

Funeral of Tunisian soldiers in the capital Tunis Tunisia's independent High Authority for Audiovisual Communication has advised satellite television channels not to broadcast footage showing the mutilated corpses of nine soldiers found in a mountainous region near the Algerian border.
The authority argued that showing the bodies would be in breach of not only Tunisian media laws, but also international human rights charters.
Head of the organisation, Nouri Lejmi, said the media must exercise its freedom of expression carefully, and consider potential human rights breach.
Lejmi blasted the channels who decided to show the bodies of the Tunisian soldiers. He asserted the important of human dignity, and said that the media must take responsibility for its actions.
