Sudanese media to be reformed to prevent corruption
Khartoum - Abedalgoum Ashmeag

Sudanese media to be reformed to prevent corruption The Sudanese media is about to undergo major changes, according to Vice President Al-Haj Adam. The Information Ministry informed Arabstoday that the structure of the Ministry would soon change as well as its leader. “The recent performance of the press has been poor. They have become isolated and do not cooperate with the government. The public is now relying in foreign media, which impacts negatively the public opinion in the country. The population does not rely on the state media anymore.” A ministry’s spokesman said.
The Sudanese media needs to undergo many changes. Corruption, fraud, breach of media laws, lack of independent media regulatory body are real issues that have tarnished the reputation of the Sudanese media.
