Al-Jazeera media network marks 15th anniversary of its launch

Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, and HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser attended this evening the celebration marking the 15th Al-Jazeera Media network anniversary. The ceremony was also attended
by HE Sheikh Hamad bin Thamer Al Thani, Al-Jazeera Board Chairman, and Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim Al Thani, Director General of Al-Jazeera Media network, in the presence of a number of guests and VIPs.
The ceremony honored some 400 employees working in various sectors of the Al-Jazeera network and its channels, who have completed 5 years in service where, with a special honor to those who lived through the start of Al-Jazeera Channel decade and a half ago.
