Suzuki SX4 range lauded for fuel economy

Fuel consumption for the 1.6 petrol 2WD is 45.6 mpg With low fuel consumption becoming even more important these days, Suzuki GB is pleased to announce that the SX4 range was voted the Best Real MPG Performer at the honestjohn.co.uk awards ceremony held in London on Friday night. The new award arose from the ‘Real MPG’ section of the honestjohn website which was launched following complaints from readers that their cars could not match official EC Combined fuel economy figures. Readers can log the true fuel economy that their vehicles are achieving into a database of more than 40,000 Real MPG submissions which covers almost 2,500 model and engine configurations of cars since 2006.
The SX4 range was voted by owners as the car that came closest to achieving the EC combined figure in everyday driving, recording an average score of 97.1 per cent. The combined fuel consumption for the 1.6 petrol 2WD is 45.6 mpg and the 2.0 DDiS 4WD model is 53.3mpg.

The SX4 range is available with a 1.6 petrol engine with either two or four wheel drive or with the 2.0 DDiS engine as four wheel drive.
