Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo Coupe
Geneva - Arab Today

Brabus is set to unveil what it claims is the world's fastest four-wheel drive, four-seat coupe at this year's Geneva Motor Show.
Just as BMW can turn to Alpina, an independent yet dedicated tuning house that takes already hot BMWs and gives them a second opinion, Brabus is legendary at taking the best that Mercedes does and pushing it even further.
Take its latest creation, the Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo Coupe, which will be making its global debut in Geneva next week.
It started out life as a Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe, the company's range-topping executive runaround and a car short neither of power nor exclusivity.
Yet, somehow, while continuing to obey the laws of physics, Brabus has turned it into a 850hp (838bhp), 350kph supercar. In fact, the upgrades make the car the world's fastest production four-wheel-drive four-seat coupé.
The performance is so ferocious that Brabus claims the 350kph (217mph) top speed is electronically limited. It has been achieved by larger turbochargers, new pistons and crankshaft and an increase in displacement under the hood plus reworked suspension and dampers and a new carbon fiber aerodynamics package adorning the exterior.
Perhaps the most remarkable achievement from an engineering standpoint is that the car can still deliver a fuel economy of 28mpg (10.1l/100km) on the combined cycle.
Inside, the cabin is awash in Brabus's signature black leather and intricate copper detailing which, although bespoke, may not be to every client's taste. Still with so much power under the owner's right foot and a 0-100km/h time of just 3.5 seconds, attention will be fixed on the windshield and fast approaching obstacles, rather than on the tone and hue of heating duct surrounds and pedal plates.
As such, the new Brabus will be lining up in Geneva alongside the latest creation from the house of Alpina, the Alpina B6 xDrive Gran Coupe.
Based on the latest-generation BMW 6 series Gran Coupe (i.e., it has four doors) it is the fastest accelerating Alpina-badged BMW in the company's history. It can hit 100km/h from a standstill in 3.6 seconds and go onto an electronically limited top speed of 200mph (322km/h). And, like the Brabus, has permanent all-wheel drive and a bespoke interior.
