American designer Ralph Lauren looked to English country style for his latest collection, on the final day of New York Fashion Week. Lauren presented a fall 2012 collection of refined glamour inspired by English aristocrats in
autumn hues of navy, black, grey, plum and gold accents. The looks included a mix of velvet, wool and cashmere, translated into timeless plaids, fair isle sweaters, tweeds, and flannels. Pops of colors burst in the details with purples and reds.
