You could see it in the girls’ eyes as they walked on past the photographers, this was a lesson in summer seduction – be it through beads, bling, blazers, sharp shades or zingy dresses.

And when it wasn’t a dress of the house’s iconic tropical vegetation or floral prints, it was an all-in-one. The Ferragamo woman has one big wardrobe and it covers all of her very glamorous occasions – there was even a straight down, raspberry beaded purple number to join in Milan’s Twenties trend. Tropical and exotic, the references were in the plenty.
