Designer Manish Malhotra unveils exclusive collection

Bollywood actress Kajol, designer Manish Malhotra and actress Karisma Kapoor An exclusive collection celebrating 100 years of Indian Cinema was showcased by Manish Malhotra in Bangalore, at Embassy Grove on June 1 .
An ardent fan of Bollywood films, Manish recreated the magic of past decades on the runway. The collection was inspired by three main eras of fashion in Indian Cinema, from 1913 to 2013 and was a homage to the distinctive styles of every iconic period in Indian cinema.
Speaking about his love for cinema and passion for fashion, Manish said: “Cinema has been a part of my life and work for 23 years now.  When I received this opportunity to celebrate 100 years of Indian cinema yet again in the vibrant city of Bangalore there was no looking behind. I plan to recreate an interesting collection that reflects my love for both cinema and fashion.”
