The upcoming Ramadan season witnesses a new type of dramas which is “One drama, several topics”. This type wasn’t widely known before, but this season there are at least 6 series with this type.

“Arab Today” was able to make a list of these series. On top of that list is the third part of “Diary of a very angry wife” starring, Dalia El Beheiry, Khaled Sarhan, Samir Ghanem, Raja El Jeddawi, Salwa Othman, Marwa Abdel Moneim and Medhat Tekha. The series deals with the different daily issues between husband and wife in a sarcastic and funny way.

 Also “The String” series which presents a lot of the Egyptian society problems in 30 episodes, each episode presents a different problem or social issue. This series is starring Sanaa Shafei, Nourhan, Wafa Salem and Abeer Mounir. After 17 years of absence, actress Yasmin Abdel Aziz returns to TV through the comedy series “She is crazy” in which she will play many characters, each one of them with different story. She is working with a group of artists such as, Mustafa Khater, Entsar, Salah Abdullah, Aida Riad, Anam Salousa, and Fadia Abdel Ghani.

Actor Ahmed Fahmy, radio broadcaster Akram Hosny and actress Mai Omar are working together in their first leading roles through “Comfort the wife” series, which sheds lights on marriage problems in a comic way. Fahmy plays the role of ads director who gets into troubles in his work and with his wife, and Akram palys the role of his friend that always help him.

Actor Ahmed Mekki also returns to the screen with Shico and Hisham Majid in “It ended well” series that mixes between the past and the future and talks about conflicts between men and women. It is a 30 episodes series, divided in two parts of 15 episodes. The first 15 episodes tell the story of 3 young men living in a popular lane where they face many problems because of their recklessness, the second part presents a conflict between humans that lead to a third World War that kills most of the people on earth. The series is starring, Ahmed Makki, Hisham Majid, Chico, Dina El Sherbini, Inam Salousa, Bayoumi Fouad, Mohamed Salam, Jamila Awad.

“Seven jobs” is listed under “One drama, several topics” type despite the fact it will be aired on “i FLIX”, which makes it the first Arab series that will be shown on this site. It is a social drama that presents social problems such as, high prices and different customs and traditions and how these problems are affecting the society. The series is starring, Mai Selim, Engi Wijdan, Yasser Al-Tobji, Khaled Alish and Mohammad Metwally with many star guests like, Mohammed Foad, Fayfi Abdo, Ahmed Salah Al-Saadani, Hani Ramzi, Hisham Abbas, Hassan Al-Raddad, Aiten Amer, Mai Kassab, Hamdi Al-Mirghani, Akram Hosni, Dalal Abdel Aziz, Shaima Saif, Ahmed Fathi, Rania Youssef and Nicole Saba.
