Algeria ranked 105th in world corruption chart

105th in world corruption chart Algeria are the 105th most corrupt country in the world, according to research carried out by Transparency International. In the 2012 report, featuring 176 countries, Transparency International say that corruption has become entrenched in the global economy despite the efforts of activists around the world.
The corruption index showed two-thirds of the 176 countries with a score of below 50, which means that they are highly corrupt. The organisation said: "The growing anger against corrupt governments forced many leaders to leave last year, but the levels of bribery and abuse of power and trade secrets is still growing in many countries."
Based on a scale from zero, which means highly corrupt to 100 meaning very clean, Denmark, Finland and New Zealand were given a score of 90. Afghanistan, North Korea and Somalia got eight points.
The survey only showed a slight improvement in the corruption rankings for countries that emerged from the revolutions of the Arab Spring.
