The Sharjah Children Biennial- the first of its kind event dedicated to children in the UAE and the region- is organising eight art workshops at the Children’s Centre in Mughayder, designed to develop the artistic skills of children and young people in the art forms of painting, design, composition and cinematography, during the period from 11th January to 9th February.
The 4th edition of the Sharjah Children Biennial is organised by the Department of Sharjah Children Centres in collaboration with the Sharjah Museums Department (SMD). The workshops are taking place in the Biennial’s second location after having moved from the Sharjah Art Museum to the Children centre in Mughayder.
The Sharjah Children Biennial has been eager to organise workshops that are specifically designed to help children learn new skills under the supervision of experts in the art forms of painting, design, composition, and cinematography.
Preparations are already in place to present the workshops in the best possible manner in order to enable the participating children and young people to enjoy learning and developing their artistic skills. The workshops will be held in two shifts, the morning from 10am-12noon, and the evening from 5-7pm.
