Sharjah - Arab Today

Al Qasba, the premier tourist, leisure and family destination in Sharjah, is gearing up to celebrate Eid Al Fitr with spectacular live performances by the Mirror Family, from July 17th-19th.

The first day of Eid Al Fitr will see a spectacular fireworks display at 10:00pm, in addition to daily live shows performed by the Mirror Family - a performance group made up of six futuristic characters who are set to stun audiences during Eid at Al Qasba.

Speaking about the Eid Al Fitr celebrations, Khulood Salim Al Junaibi, Al Qasba Deputy Manager said, "Al Qasba has always been eager to share the joy of Eids, national and religious occasions with its visitors throughout the year by organising a range of entertaining events and exciting activities that suit all members of the family.”

She continued to say, "We are keen to introduce different activities this year during Eid. We will present the Mirror Family for first time, who will be roaming the walkways of Al Qasba to entertain visitors with impressive visual scenes, and we hope that audiences will have fun with their family members and friends during the Eid Al Fitr celebrations at Al Qasba."

The programme will feature five daily shows that last 30 minutes each, from 6:30pm till 11pm, during which Al Qasba visitors will be overwhelmingly impressed with spectacular visual illusions.

Al Qasba's visitors are expected to interact with the six characters whose bodies will be covered in hundreds of mirrors from head to toe, and enjoy the stunning reflections and visual spectacles they make.

This year, Al Qasba celebrates its 10th anniversary. Over a period of 10 years, the cultural and leisure destination in the emirate of Sharjah and the UAE has become a famous landmark and Sharjah’s most visited destination due to its high quality facilities and activities designed to entertain all members of the family.
