Abu Dhabi Art's 2014 edition
Abu Dhabi - Arab Today

The next edition of Abu Dhabi Art will mark its seventh year, continuing to highlight Abu Dhabi's growing role as a leading arts destination and platform for global cross-cultural dialogue during its run from November 18th – 21st.
Abu Dhabi Art's 2014 edition presented an interdisciplinary programme of art, talks and sensational experiences with participation from renowned artists, collectors, galleries and art professionals from around the world covering topics relevant to the capital's cultural institutions and guiding principles which reflect on themes of time, space and history.
As an integral part of Abu Dhabi Art, the 'Beyond' sector presents large-scale works, and will expand in 2015 by introducing large-scale installations which will go beyond fair grounds and engage with public spaces. Through this new annual programme, selected works will be exhibited for six months, creating a contemporary canvas of artwork within the urban landscape.
Works by artists Ai Weiwei, Mohammed Kazem, Sahand Hesamiyan, Shilpa Gupta and Subodh Gupta are currently on display at Manarat Al Saadiyat until April 2015.
Abu Dhabi Art is organised by the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority, and takes place in the Saadiyat Cultural District. Gallery applications for Abu Dhabi Art will open in April 2015.
