Taoussi is looking forward to this year's competition
Morocco's head coach Rachid Taoussi has intensified the team’s training routine from one session to two training sessions a day, with the African Cup of Nations (ACN) just 12 days away.The Moroccan national team will face current
ACN champions Zambia in a friendly match on Tuesday, at the Rand Stadium in Johannesburg.
The match will allow Taoussi to keep his players match fit and decide on his final 23-man squad for the tournament. The 53-year old is likely to choose between Abdelilah Hafidi or Mehdi Namli to complete the squad which needs to be submitted by Wednesday.
Lions of the Atlas are in Group A with hosts South Africa, Angola and Cape Verde. Their African Cup campaign gets underway against Angola on January 19.
