Cairo – Hisham Shahin

Farouk Gaafar Cairo – Hisham Shahin Farouk Gaafar, the technical coach of the Talaea Al-Gaish club football team, said that “the decision to resume  the league without spectators will detract from the game's enjoyment.” He added that “the wise decision to take is to resume the league after finalising the investigations and penalising the criminals so that the victims’ relatives are relieved.”
Essam Marie, the team’s General Coach, supported Gaafar’s point of view stressing the necessity of the fans'attendance but with proper security enforced by the armed forces. He added that “we have understood the lesson well; we should put all things into consideration to avoid any crises in the future.”
"Absence of spectators means the  absence of the most important element in this sport, and the security is capable of organising games with fans present, on condition that there is mutual cooperation until we're stable,” said Marie.
He suggested that “the attending spectators should  only be from he club playing the game to avoid any confrontations between two different groups of fans, except for Ahly and Zamalek matches as the two are always separated.”
“The Port Said massacre will not happen again,” he added.
