Jordanian protesters in Amman
Amman - Osama Al- Rantisi

Jordanian protesters in Amman Despite heavy rain and efforts to convince Jordan's Islamist party to call off Friday's march, Jordanian protestors began their rally from Maged El Houseiny mosque in Amman after prayers . The party avoided public invitation to all Jordanians and discarded any slogans calling on toppling the House of Representatives in a positive response to what was agreed upon with governmental officers.
The march demanded taking steps towards reform, re-electing the government and reforming the political system in the country. Numbers were very weak as only 1200 citizens repeated slogans calling for reformation in addition to rejecting the Wady Araba agreement. Slogans included phrases like "Yes to the Khilafa State" and "No Security Interventions", in addition to some opposing corruption.
Reports stated that around 50 Jordanian citizens were about to clash with protestors, but security forces managed to intervene in Amman's Zobian neighborhood which witnessed protests eight months ago.
Meanwhile, Zobian Opposing Mobility activists took the decision not to go out for their weekly demonstration in consideration of a funeral of a deceased local going out of the same mosque from which they used to start their demonstration.
It was a quiet day that witnessed no strong cheers, no slogans opposing the system or breaking boundaries. Demonstrations went out in Karak demanding action against double nationality parliament representatives as well as demands to put the Constitutional Amendments into action.
Karak protestors rejected corrupt practices and called upon the government to put an end the "robbery of public wealth 'in a vehement campaign against privatisation. In addition, protestors demanded confiscation of companies sold to the private sector.
