Tunisian Criminal Court will try defendants from the Interior Ministry's employees accused of forging passports.

The defendants accused of forging passports through using false names, receiving bribes by using their positions in the ministry, and helping the extremists to commit terrorist crimes outside the country.

Investigation reported that Tunisian citizen filed a complaint to national unity for investigating in terrorism crimes,  that he knew someone was talking to him about going to jihad and urging him to accompany him to Syria, but he refused, however, that person helped him to obtain a passport carries the identity of another individual and his photo.

 After conduct the necessary investigations, security forces detected forging passports different identities of the identities of the people in their photos.

Investigations revealed also that some of belonging to the Salafist movement, and after they have been prevented from traveling to Syria to join one of the terrorist organizations, sought to obtain passports with false identities. 

According to the investigations, employees from the Interior Ministry helped them to get false passports taking advantage of their authority.
