Truce ends after 45 from its beginning, intense bombardment

The regime forces launched 5 missiles believed to be ground-to-ground on Daraa al-Balad city, with no losses reported. Meanwhile, warplanes carried out about 50 air strike, yesterday, in Daraa city, which killed and injured several persons, the death of 3 of them at least was confirmed. 

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) documented more violations in several areas in Syria in the 45th day of the truce, where the regime forces shelled areas in the village of Tal Mammo in the southern countryside of Aleppo. Meanwhile, explosions were heard in the western outskirts of Aleppo city, they were caused by the fall of shells on areas controlled by the regime forces in Jam’eyyat al-Zahra’a neighborhood. Regime forces also shelled areas in the village of Qnitrat in the southern countryside of Aleppo. 

while the regime forces continued its missile shelling on areas in the town of Eis and other areas in the southern countryside of Aleppo, amid clashes in the area of Tal Mammo and its vicinity in the area between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against Islamic Factions militants. Regime forces targeted also with heavy machineguns places in Talbiseh city in the northern countryside of Homs, and shelled areas in al-Wa’er neighborhood, which is besieged by the regime and the gunmen loyal to them which caused injuries.

Regime forces renewed the targeting on the neighborhood with their snipers and machineguns, after heavy shelling of rocket and tank shells, leaving a man and a child under the age of 18 killed several injurs. Clashes took place between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic Factions in the vicinity Ayn al-Dananir area in the northern countryside of Homs, also areas in Rastan city in the northern countryside of Homs were shelled by the regime forces.

Clashes took place between the regime forces and Islamic factions in towns of Jesrin, in the Eastern Ghouta, with no losses reported. 

The regime forces continue for the 8th day in a row intensify the targeting of the besieged neighborhood of al-Wa’er by them and by the gunmen loyal to them. Meanwhile, the regime forces renewed the targeting of the neighborhood with their snipers and the heavy machineguns after a round of bombardment of rocket and tank shells, killing a man and a child under the age of 18, in addition to injuring several other people.

This bombing and shelling have raised the number of persons who were killed in the neighborhood to the 21 persons at least, including 7 children and 2 women.

SOHR documented, since the start of the Turkish offensive on the 7th of February 2016, the death of 61 persons, including 13 children under the age of 18 and 8 females, including 11 members of one family, they were killed by shelling by the Turkish forces and raids carried out by Turkish warplanes on al-Bab city, these raids have also injured tens of others.
