Syrian opposition factions were able to destroy large amounts of military equipment of the government forces on the front of the town of Al-Rayhan in the eastern Ghouta after being targeted by tank shells, as the city of Harasta was hit by mortar shells and and the town of Muhammadiyah was bombed with two gas cylinders. Meanwhile, eight cars loaded with foodstuffs entered from the refugee camp's crossing to the eastern Ghouta.

The opposition factions targeted a group of government forces that were carrying out fortifications on the front of the Muqrousa in Jabal al-Sheikh with heavy machine guns. There were clashes between the two sides in the area. Government forces targeted the points liberated by mortars.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported, on Thursday, that militant factions attacked headquarters of the Islamic State group in the eastern countryside of As-Suwayda, while revealed that Syrian regime forces attacked the northwestern countryside of Daraa.

The observatory stated that the factions fighting alongside the Syrian government forces shelled gatherings and headquarters of the Islamic State group in al-Rasefi area, in the eastern countryside of As-Suwayda, but no casualties had been reported.

Syrian Air Force warplanes bombarded areas in the northern and eastern country sides of Homs, while Syrian regime forces fired more than 30 rockets on areas, in eastern Ghouta of Damascus.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated that Syrian Air Force warplanes bombarded areas in Taldou District, in Houla area, in the northern countryside of Homs, while carried another air strikes on al-Sokhna city and al-Shumareya Mountains in the eastern countryside of Homs.

Meanwhile, in Damascus, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights revealed that clashes escalated between Syrian government forces and the Islamic State militants in al-Muhamadeya and Bayt Nayem towns, in eastern Ghouta, leaving casualties among the ranks of the both sides.

Furthermore, more than 18 ground-to-ground rockets, launched by Syrian regime forces, fell on al-Muhamadeya and Bayt Nayem towns, while over 12 different missiles were launched on the same areas, causing material damage, but no casualties were reported.

Meanwhile in Daraa Province, Syrian regime forces attacked several areas in al-Yadudah Village, in the northwestern countryside of the province, but also without causing any casualties. Six persons, including four children, had been killed in Aleppo Province, on Wednesday, due to air strikes, raids and sniper fire, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported.

The observatory stated that an air strike on the Islamic State-held Maskana town, in the eastern countryside of the city of Aleppo, killed a youth, while air raids on Sem al-Hamam Village, in eastern Aleppo, resulted in the killing of four children. Furthermore, another youth was killed by a sniper fire in eastern Aleppo, near the borders with the city of Raqqa, the observatory added.

Nearly 35 people attending a wedding ceremony were killed late Thursday when Islamic State militants launched missiles targeting Syrian government forces locations in Deir Azzour, a war monitor has reported.

The London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said the shelling hit Harabesh district, located near the province’s airport. The organization added that 14 of the casualties were confirmed dead, but more deaths were expected as many sustained serious injuries.

In March, the observatory said more than 320000 people died in the conflict in place since popular protests demanded President Bashar al-Assad to step down in 2011 before expanding to a wider war pitting government forces against dissident groups, extremist militias, most notably the Islamic State and international powers including the U.S.-led coalition, Russia, Iran and Turkey.
