Syrian governmental troops launched artillery attack against the cities of Douma, Harsta and the agricultural area surrounding the two cities, as they also targeted the town of Hamouriya with a "land-to-land" missile. Meanwhile, the Lebanese army and elements loyal to Hezbollah targeted the towns of Baalbek, Arsal and Western Qalmoun with artillery attacks.
In Aleppo, the opposition factions were able to seize the "14.5" machine gun during a successful infiltration into the positions of government forces in the Southern countryside, as Jamala village witnessed an artillery attack from the governmental troops.
Extremist elements loyal to ISIS extremist group managed to destroy a tank possessed by the governmental forces in the village of Khawalda east of the city of Dirhafer in the eastern countryside after being targeted with a guided missile. Six persons, including four children, had been killed in Aleppo Province, on Wednesday, due to air strikes, raids and sniper fire, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported.
The observatory stated that an air strike on the Islamic State-held Maskana town, in the eastern countryside of the city of Aleppo, killed a youth, while air raids on Sem al-Hamam Village, in eastern Aleppo, resulted in the killing of four children. Furthermore, another youth was killed by a sniper fire in eastern Aleppo, near the borders with the city of Raqqa, the observatory added.
Syrian Air Force warplanes bombarded areas in the northern and eastern country sides of Homs, while Syrian regime forces fired more than 30 rockets on areas, in eastern Ghouta of Damascus.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated that Syrian Air Force warplanes bombarded areas in Taldou District, in Houla area, in the northern countryside of Homs, while carried another air strikes on al-Sokhna city and al-Shumareya Mountains in the eastern countryside of Homs.
Meanwhile, in Damascus, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights revealed that clashes escalated between Syrian government forces and the Islamic State militants in al-Muhamadeya and Bayt Nayem towns, in eastern Ghouta, leaving casualties among the ranks of the both sides.
Furthermore, more than 18 ground-to-ground rockets, launched by Syrian regime forces, fell on al-Muhamadeya and Bayt Nayem towns, while over 12 different missiles were launched on the same areas, causing material damage, but no casualties were reported.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported, on Wednesday, that the self-proclaimed Islamic State group executed 9 persons in Al-Bukamal city and the countryside of Daraa, while coalition air strikes killed 24 fighters of the Islamic State in Deir Ezzor.
The observatory said that the Islamic State militants executed 8 persons in al-Bukamal city, on the Syrian-Iraqi borders, on charges of spying for the international coalition and security forces, while sources informed that the execution took place near al-Rahman Mosque and al-Hajana headquarters.
Meanwhile, at least 20 members of the Islamic State were killed by coalition air strikes of the vicinity of al-Rahman and al-Iman mosque, in al-Bukamal.
Furthermore, four members of the Islamic State were killed by coalition air strikes in Qors town, in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, while clashes between the terrorist group and fighters of the Syrian Democratic forces resulted in the killing of 5 SDF fighters and 9 IS members, in the countryside of Raqqa.
In a related news, another execution took place in the northwestern countryside of Daraa, where the Islamic State executed a youth, by firing squad, for killing another.
