Saudi FM says Iran commits war crimes in Syria

Saudi Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir demanded Iran to "adopt a non-interference foreign policy" with its neighboring countries, stressing that Tehran has committed "war crimes" in Syria.

Al-Jubair held a joint press conference at the headquarters of the ministry in Riyadh on Tuesday with visiting minister of foreign affairs and international development of France Jean-Marc Eyrault, welcoming the guest in his first visit to Saudi Arabia since assuming office.

He lauded the deep-rooted ties binding the two friendly countries since their establishment in 1926, citing the identity of view points between the two countries in a number of issues, like the crises in Syria, Yemen, Iraq, Lebanon, and Libya and the Iranian intervention in the affairs of countries of the region.
Al-Jubeir also praised the role France is playing in the peace process in the middle east.
On the other hand, Al-Jubair said that Saudi Arabia is optimistic to work with US President Donald Trump and his new administration, noting that he is looking forward to work closely on solving challenges facing the region and world.
