Military leader of Libyan army Melod Al Zowy revealed the killing of a leading member of ISIS extremist group during their clash against the remnants of extremist elements. He added that terrorist Motaz Al Ansari was killed during his attempt to escape from the Libyan city of Benghazi. He added that a number of extremists have been killed during the operations.

He added that the extremists turned to launch attacks against the Libyan Armed Forces to open passages for their elements to escape from the besieged areas. He added that the Libyan forces still besiege the area of 12 Buildings of Benghazi, which is considered the last stronghold of the extremist group in the country.

On its hand, extremist Shura Council of Benghazi mourned the killing of three of its elements during their clashes witnessed on Sunday against the Libyan army, as the military leaders ordered the Libyan air forces not to target the oil fields as they are owned by the Libyan people and the role of Libyan military is to protect these fields.

On the other hand, leader of oil facilities guards Idreis Abu Khamada said on Sunday announced the killing of one of the guards’ members, denying the existence of any Russian security forces in the eastern side of the country or any parts of the Libyan territories.
