
The UN Secretary General Antonio Guteres has called for an immediate cessation of hostile actions in the Libyan capital's suburbs, and to adhere to the UN-brokered ceasefire agreements. The UN Secretary General condemned in a statement the indiscriminate shelling by the armed groups of residential neighborhoods which led to causalities among civilians. Earlier a joint statement issued in Rome by the United States, Britain, Italy and France has called for an end to fighting in the Tripoli suburbs.
