Arab Coalition's foghter jets intensified their raids against the Houthi militias' sites in Mareb's Serwah area in coincidence with the exchanger of missile and artillery attacks between the Yemeni governmental troops on one hand and forces loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh on the other hand.

The coalition's jets launched raids on Ain area of Safaan Directorate and militants' strongholds in Naham's Yam Mountains coinciding with the clashes that erupted between the governmental troops and Houthi militias and Saleh's forces in the city.

The clashes witnessed the intesive use of different kind of weapons, including the heavy weapons, as they centered on the areas of Madfoon, Manara, and Yam Mountains. The clashes came days after the killing of prominent military leader Ahmed Saleh Al Faqih loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh.

The clashes between the governmental troops loyal to the legitimate government of Yemen and the insurgents continue for over a year in Naham which is considered one of the most important strategic areas. However, the governmental troops has not achieved notable advance in the area despite the increasing support from the Arab Coalition led by Saudi Arabia.
