Osama bin Laden
Baghdad - Jaafer Elnasrwai
Osama bin Laden Al Qaeda In Iraq have threatened to carry a series of attacks, that includes bombing attacks and assassinations attempts all over the country. The militant organization in a statement posted on Haneen website usually known for publishing Islamic militant organizations news last Friday said “ we announce the start of the third phase of our plan, and we will begin this stage with a battle we named revenge for Osama bin Laden and all the senior leaders."
The statement made it clear that the campaign began in the middle of the holly month of Ramadan and will end after carrying out  a hundred attacks which vary between bombing attacks and assassinations attempts.
74 Iraqis were killed and more than 300 were injured last Monday in a series of simultaneous attacks in several cities in Iraq.  It was not clear whether these attacks are associated with the start of the new offensive plan to the Islamic State of Iraq and no one claimed responsibility yet. Monday's attacks scored the highest rate of casualties in a single day since the start of this year.
Iraqi government will start talks with Washington in order to discuss the issue of training Iraqi forces until the end of the year.
The U.S. military still has about 47 thousand soldiers spread in Iraq, those military forces must be withdrawn completely from the country the end of 2011, according to a security agreement signed between Baghdad and Washington.
Tens of thousands Iraqi have been killed since the American invasion on Iraq eight years ago.
