The Jordanian King held a meeting with former deputy Moneim Abu Zant and other officials, where he reviewed a number of urgent national and international issues, one of which was the Jordanian Prime Minister’s visit to Cairo to discuss Egyptian gas. On the agenda were also the petrol and gas price hike, Syria, Palestine and Israel, and the upcoming parliamentary elections in Jordan on January 23.
