 Libyan leader of special forces Ahmed Abu Baker Hatiba was killed during the clashes witnessed in the western side of Benghazi.

According to spokesperson of Libya'a special forces Melod Al Zawy the Libyan military forces managed to control new sites in Qanfoda district, revealing the killing of the military leader. He added that the troops managed to achieve notable advance in the city during the recent operations.

On his hand, Speaker of Libyan parliament Okila Saleh called the Libyans for serious reconciliation to turn a new page in the history of the country, stressing the need for rebuilding the state upon the principles of justice.

He added, "Despite the victory of Libyan revolution, the Libyan people still face serious challenges, including terrorism and extremist position adopted by political factions that refuse the people's democratic choice."

Saleh praised the Libyan revolution and the efforts exerted by the military forces to protect the Libyans from the extremist threats, stressing the need for exerting more efforts to meet the aspirations of the Libyan people during the coming period.

On the other hand, minister of foreign affairs of Libya'a neighbouring States are scheduled to meet on Sunday in Tunis to discuss the ways to resolve the crisis and to end the current state of chaos dominating the country.

According to a statement from Tunisian Foreign Ministry, the Tunisian president will meet with foreign ministers of Egypt and Algeria to discuss the recent developments witnessed in the Libyan arena. 

Libyan Prime Minister Fayez Al Sarraj lamented what he described as precious opportunity to push fowrard the efforts to resolve the Libyan crisis, after the failure to organize a direct meeting in Cairo with Marshal Khalifa Haftar this week.
