Free Syrian Army (FSA) rebels clash with soldiers in Aleppo Damascus – George Al Shami The Syrian Local Coordination Committee said 86 people, including 15 women and 13 children were killed on Friday, during clashes between forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad and opposition fighters seeking to topple the regime. According to the committee, fierce fighting was witnessed across the country, in which 22 people were killed in Damascus, 21 people in Idlib, 15 people in Deraa, 13 people in Aleppo, six in Homs, four in Deir azzour and three in Latakia.
The group of activists added that 527 separate bombing raids were carried out by warplanes.  The fiercest of these was in Damascus, Aleppo and Idlib, in which the regime used missiles and cluster bombs against tagets.
In Damascus, the Free Syrian Arm - a coalition of different rebels groups fighting pro-government forces shot down a military aircraft, following intense fighting.  The group targeted an army intelligence unit in Abbasien Square, killing a number of government troop, and destroying a tank in the Jober neighbourhood.
In Zamalka, the FSA destroyed three military tanks, and launched an attack on a police hospital which government forces were using as a base.  The group launched an attack on a gathering of Shiite Lebanese fighters in the area, belonging to Hezbollah.
The opposition group regained control of 13 villages in Aleppo, during a battle in which 200 pro-government fighters were killed.
In Idlib, rebel fighters targeted the Hamdeya camp with homemade missiles, killing a large number of fighters belonging to Hezbollah in Jericho and village of Kafaria, close to the city of Latakia.
